…but never mind; every cloud has a silver lining. Even global warming. The thinner ice will make it easier for Russia to drill for 10 billion tonnes of oil and gas believed to reside under the North Pole, and has staked its claim to the area by planting a titanium flag on the sea bed.
The ironies abound.
Harry is a Computer Science graduate who's currently working towards his PhD. He's interested in programming, security, politics and particularly in political developments which relate to security and our digital freedoms.
Harry is cautiously proud of his opinions and has a tendency to rant when enflamed by some worldy outrage. He has observed that people in real life tend to find this irritating. As a social nicety, he generally restrains himself when sober, attempts to do so when drunk, and posts things here when he feels like it.
